The semigroup approach for measure-valued branching processes and a nonlinear Dirichlet problem
Abstract:
We use a branching Markov process on the space of finite configurations to solve a Dirichlet problem associated with the operator $\Delta u + u^2$. We follow the pioneering works of M. Nagasawa, N. Ikeda, S. Watanabe, M.L. Silverstein, and the approach of E.B. Dynkin.
