A Brownian motion in the group of diffeomorphisms of the circle
Abstract:
\indent The group of diffeomorphisms of the circle arises naturally in many places in mathematical physics. In this talk, I will first discuss various topologies of the group and its Lie algebra. Then I will talk about the construction of a Brownian motion in this group using a very strong metric.
