Interested in teaching math? Professor Guershon Harel will lead a Freshman Seminar (Math 87 C00) that will focus on elementary and secondary students in mathematical errors and insights. Learn about the reasons for these errors and how to help students avoid them; and about the sources of these insights and how to embrace them. Students will discuss authentic examples of errors and insights from elementary mathematics. This seminar will help you realize the challenge of becoming an effective mathematics teachers.
